Dear Friends,
Yes, I’m stubborn. At a close friend’s birthday party, she circled her guests around, and recognized each of us for what she admired. Was I brilliant? No. Was I beautiful? No. I had the quality of “perseverance.”
Let’s just say I’ve embraced my inner mule.
Here, you see me with Bingo, our Jerusalem Donkey. He’s just tolerating me, not loving the picture shoot. But he does a great job of protecting our goats, so we love him.
I hope I do as good a job looking after my family, farm team and customers. Right now, I’m trying to look after the future, too, becoming a part of the solution to several looming environmental problems including climate change. Regenerative agriculture and soils are starting to be recognized as important, something we’ve been working on at Mt. Folly for years. We detail this on the farm website, www.mtfollyfarm.com. My inner mule has propelled us on this path….
Right now, my inner mule tells me to keep our customers happy, so we’re offering you a deal on some of Laura’s Mercantile products.
On to Harvest!
