Danny Townsend, our neighbor, is the fifth generation of Townsends to make sorghum. And it is the best there is, having been crowned National Champion by the members of the National Sweet Sorghum Producers and Processors Association.
Sorghum goes with our heritage cornbread, like a pocket on a shirt.
We’re eyeing the prospect of making sorghum rum down at our farm-to-table restaurant and distillery, Wildcat Willy’s. But for now, try this with cornbread.
